Ran into a problem on my Ender 3 V2 with the Z axis not moving down when doing an Auto Home.
After some research and testing found that a wire had broken in the ribbon cable connecting the CR Touch to the controller board.
Found a replacement cable on Aliexpress .
Also decided to get it working while waiting for the new part by soldering in a new wire to replace the broken wire. This is a little tricky as the cables and connectors are very small.
Thought about replacing just the connector which is a JSP 5pin 1.25mm pitch. Its possible but its easier to just replace the whole cable.
